Alison Camp is a trial lawyer and the founding member of The Law Office of Alison Camp, PLLC. Her practice focuses on complex criminal defense and family court litigation, including custody, guardianship, abuse and neglect, juvenile delinquency, and high-stakes felony matters.
Since opening her firm, Alison has represented hundreds of clients in criminal and family courts throughout the region. She regularly handles serious felony charges, including homicide, firearms offenses, narcotics cases, and felony DWIs, as well as contested custody and CPS litigation. Known for her courtroom presence and meticulous preparation, she is a seasoned trial attorney who is comfortable litigating complex evidentiary issues and aggressively protecting her clients’ rights.
Prior to founding her firm, Alison served as a Prosecutor, where she tried hundreds of cases ranging from traffic violations to violent felonies. She spent several years assigned to the Vehicular Crimes Bureau, prosecuting felony DWI offenses, vehicular assaults, and fatality cases. During that time, she received specialized training in Standardized Field Sobriety Testing, breath analysis, chemical test refusals, and crash reconstruction — experience that now provides her with a strategic advantage when defending similar charges. Alison later worked in the Special Investigations Bureau, prosecuting firearms and narcotics offenses and assisting law enforcement with long-term investigations.
She subsequently served as a Deputy County Attorney, representing Child Protective Services in abuse and neglect proceedings, termination of parental rights cases, administrative fair hearings, and juvenile delinquency matters. This experience gave her deep familiarity with the family court system and the procedures governing child protective litigation.
Drawing on her combined experience as a prosecutor and defense attorney, Alison offers clients a rare and comprehensive understanding of law enforcement tactics, prosecutorial strategy, and family court dynamics. She is committed to strategic advocacy, careful case preparation, and delivering results for the individuals and families she represents.
